AI is moving fast, but most SMEs do not need a complete overhaul. They need one or two reliable wins that free up time or improve decisions. Here is a simple way to start.

1. Pick a painful, repeatable task

Look for work that happens weekly, involves text or data, and currently eats more time than it should. Drafting routine emails, summarising meeting notes, classifying support tickets, or extracting data from invoices are all good candidates.

2. Test with one small workflow

Choose a single workflow and run a four-week pilot. Measure time saved and quality before expanding. A narrowly scoped test is cheaper and teaches you more than a broad rollout.

3. Keep data inside the EU when it matters

If the workflow handles customer, employee, or financial data, make sure the AI provider and data stay within EU jurisdiction. For sensitive use cases, consider private or self-hosted models.

At Koodi, we help companies run these pilots, choose the right models, and integrate them into the tools they already use. If you are curious where AI could fit your business, get in touch.
